Northleach Court Private Care Home has a dedicated activity coordinator who works hard with the entire care team, to ensure our residents are happy and entertained by our wide range of high-quality activities including Dementia activities. We aim to improve residents’ mobility and social and communication skills through our range of activities.
All activities are tailored to residents choice and consist of in-house staff, visiting entertainers, regular excursions and volunteers and of course the local Vicar. Singing, board games, flower arrangements, crafts and music are enjoyed by many of our residents, alongside a weekly visit from a Mind Song volunteer. We also offer a wide range of specialist Dementia activities for those living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s who are under our expert private dementia care here at Northleach.
Northleach staff aim to improve the wellbeing of our residents however we can. Stimulating activities such as trips to local attractions keep residents involved with the local community. Recent excursions include Burford Garden Centre and Cotswold Wildlife Park.
Residents at Northleach Court receive a bi-weekly visit from a therapy dog, which has been a very positive experience for our residents, monthly church services are also arranged.
